Edema-followup from thread on other board

The majority of the swelling in my feet and legs is gone.  Yay!

There is still a few spots in my calves that aren't quite normal yet.  I'll take some pics to post later.

YAY! Good news Janet....glad to hear that the swelling has gone down. That is so scary. Hope that you are up and about soon.

After a little over a week in the Big House I finally have my little bird legs back!

I am wearing a halter monitor at the moment and looks like I'm going to end up with a defib-implant.  I have conjestive heart failure-caused the edema, and have to make adjustments in my diet and now that the edema is gone have to get back to walking more to build the leg muscles back up and for exercise.

I have a cyst the size of a grapefruit on my left kidney which is probably the cause of the back pain that I've been having for weeks but since it isn't life threatening there is no plans to do anything about it right now.

Anyway, I'm feeling better than I have for a long time.
